We love engaging with students and inspiring them to consider a career for Ag, Food and Natural Resources (AFNR).  Additionally, we have the network with Minnesota State Colleges and Universities and industry to help make connections and referrals.  Two common ways we connect with students include:

1. Classroom Visits – Teachers, please reach out to us and let us know what you are looking for.  We have standard presentations that we can deliver, which include interacting with students.  If you are looking for something more specific, let us know and we’ll do the best we can to accommodate your needs and customize a presentation.
2. Outreach Events – Whether it be career fairs, CTE days, ag days or other special events, please let us know when your school is offering these events and we’d love to be there with an interactive exhibit to represent careers in AFNR as well as showcase Minnesota State Colleges and Universities that have AFNR programs.  Depending on space and time of year along with the nature of the event, we also enjoy bringing our John Deere Combine Simulator as that is always a hit and it connects people to agriculture and gives people a chance to experience driving a combine.  The trailer goes into hibernation during the winter months.  Images of the trailer are shown below.  You can visit our Student Events page to see some videos that we’ve created of events that we’ve been part of.
